The head staff, Antonis, was very welcoming and warm. We very much enjoyed dining at Santo Athiri on our first night in Kamari that we came back again on our last night to dine and celebrate my sister's birthday at this restaurant. Definitely an excellent choice!

This is hands down the best food I’ve had during my 3 weeks traveling through the greek islands. I ordered the sea bream and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly and came with a delicious lemon sauce on the side. The service was incredible, the server was kind enough to offer to debone the fish for me - a very nice touch that I haven’t experienced elsewhere. My partner ordered the chicken souvlaki which was also the best we have had on this trip so far. Extremely juicy, tender meat, and perfectly seasoned. The quality is all around amazing. This has honestly been one of the best culinary experiences for us in greece.

However, the presentation of the food is more style over substance. The plates are extremely large, which takes up unnecessary space on the table, and makes the food portions appear even smaller than they are. For the price, the portions are simply not generous especially when you’re expecting a full, satisfying meal. Another downside is that no extra sauces are offered on the side. Instead, they use tiny decorative drops on the plate, which are more about looks than flavor. Overall, while the vibe and service are lovely, the food portions are too small for the price. Athiri should seriously consider either increasing the portion sizes or adjusting the plating style to better match what is actually served. But overall all good delicious food and nice place.
