This is a family run hotel where the owners are keen on helping you with all sorts of information. They live in the same building and are always approachable. Everything looks a bit like a family home where the decorations have a feel of having been taken from tgeir own home to the guest rooms and public areas. In thd room was a hairdryer, a fridge and aurcon available. The wifi worked perfectly. I had a small balcony which I enjoyed sitting on in the mornings. The furniture is a bit outdated but still looking fine. My only point of criticism is the shower: the curtain is sticking to the body all the time as the shower area is very small. In the lobby there is a hit/cold water dispenser and instant coffee provided. Breakfast was simple but delightful, especially when taken on the terrace. The port is 4min walk away as is the city centre. A supermarket is just next door.

Villa Zacharo is a true example of Greek hospitality at its best. This lovely multi-generation family-owned hotel is filled with warmth and kindness. Mr. Jacob and his family were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal — just a short walk from the port, shops, and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet for a good night’s rest. The rooms are cozy, spotless, and well cared for, and you can really feel the pride the family puts into their work. Staying here felt like visiting old friends rather than checking into a hotel. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Patmos — you’ll love the comfort, convenience, and genuine care that make Villa Zacharo so special.

Great option for a stay in Patmos. Very close to the port and the shopping/restaurant area of Skala, Sklavenitis supermarket next door, a big municipal parking right opposite. Superb service from Mr Zacharo, always willing to help with a smile and a wonderful sense of humour. We had an issue with a phone charger which was resolved quickly and smoothly.
