Extraordinary food with some unique combinations of tastes. Quite expensive, but the food is absolutely worth it. We ordered sous vide chicken and linguine pasta with chimichouri, fish tartar and fish broth. Both of them were great.
we came back twice because food and service were just spectacular! we tried many different dishes and all of them were amazing. service and staff are fast, well prepared, welcoming, smiley the entire night, we simply loved everything. without any doubt, best restaurant on the island.
Quite possibly the best meal we've had in Greece! The service was amazing and accommodating. There is only outdoor seating and it was cold so they provided warm blankets for us! We recommend the teas, sourdough bread with cheese/olives/butter, lamb, and octopus. Naxos Apothecary deserves a Michelin star - the food is full of flavour and depth. We can't wait to return!
The Naxos Apothecary should be the last place you eat at on the island because nothing else will taste as good afterwards. They have delicious, contemporary food that showcases creativity and understands how to marry different flavours. My photos don't do the meal justice. The cured sea bream was incredible (forgot a photo) and my favourite. Scallops were cooked to perfection, a nice sear but still extremely tender. Everything was great, though I will say if you are watching your salt intake then be careful here. They are not afraid to season your food well. The service we received from Al the redhead and their colleague was outstanding. They were patient, attentive, kind, and generous. They gave us some excellent recommendations for other places to visit during out stay. Our trip was better for having met them. Lastly, the view of Apollo's gate from the patio is a special little bonus while you enjoy your meal. I hope to come back some day.
