I just finished my stay (6 days) at Afroessa and it was simply amazing. The owner Mr Lukas is the real gyro (hero) of Milos. He's so warm and personable. The rooms are amazing. The rooms are freshly renovated and everything is beautiful. Never have I had LED strip lights under my bed till this stay. The breakfast is amazing. They don't just serve the same thing every day. They change it often. He gives good advice and tips on what to do and how to navigate the island. It's just far enough away from the port from a noise perspective but close enough (8 min) to walk
We had a marvellous experience of Milos hospitality. Loukas and his staff greeted us with such an enthusiastic warm welcome that any tiredness from our journey immediately evaporated. The centrally located hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was incredibly spacious, contemporary and comfortable. Especially the bed which guaranteed a good nights sleep. Our little balcony looked out over the turquoise blue harbour and the occasional cruise ship. Every morning we were cordially welcomed to breakfast. Mr Loukas would make us coffee and the kitchen would tempt us with freshly baked pastries in addition to the great selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, eggs, cheeses etc We were always asked if there was anything they could do to enhance our stay and always shared tips on tours, beaches, restaurants and the weather. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a great value and very memorable stay at the Afroessa Hotel.

The breakfast included is an awesome bonus - they have a great selection, and not just “continental breakfast” items - you can get bacon and eggs, freshly baked muffins, juice, espresso, coffee, and much more. Very convenient to start the day. Highly recommended all around.
