Guest Experiences: Highlights and Considerations

Sunrise Resort Hotel enjoys praise for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and stunning sea views. Many guests appreciate the well-maintained pools and the calm environment, noting that the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet receives positive remarks for variety, even if the offerings remain fairly consistent each day.

However, some guests have noted challenges worth considering. Language barriers with some staff members have been mentioned, which may affect communication during the stay. Mosquitoes have been a significant concern, particularly due to the lack of window screens, impacting nighttime comfort for some visitors. Additionally, while the restaurant provides breakfast and dinner, many guests recommend venturing into the nearby town of Mitilini for more flavorful dining experiences.

Room layout has been a mixed experience. While balconies provide beautiful views, some have a low wall instead of railings, which affects the outlook. The placement of air conditioning units and lack of mosquito screens have caused discomfort for a few guests. Despite these issues, many find the overall value for money and the quality of the rooms to be very satisfactory.

The hotel has great value for the money. The fact that few times a day they have shuttle to the city, really helps a lot. The rooms are big, also the bathroom (including the shower area), a lot of amenities and the view from the balcony is wow! A lot of options for breakfast and even though are more or less the same every day, you can choose from a lot of options. They have ramp for disabled people even the stairs are quite a lot. We felt really good there!

Tbh, hotel was good. However it has a some of problems like language problems. Unfortunately employers can't speak English. Just I found one of them for really able to speak it. If you're going to hotel, you must can take a good help with English. But this hotel couldn't give this. In addition breakfast was delicious, pool great but not deep(1.60 max). Environment are good. Also view is better than everything. So if you thing for coming this hotel, probably you won't get a bad experience, but as a little adviser learn some of Greek languages👍

Great location on a hill top with beautiful view to the sea. The staff is friendly and helpful to assist or provide if possible. The breakfast is fine. The rooms are clean, and in good condition (the bath shower of older date) good aircondition and overall the cleaning staff do a great work to keep you happy. (The room has a small fridge with some drinks and you can top up yourself - small mini mart approx. 6 min walk from the hotel. The dinner (if you have that included in your packaged ? Is terrible !! Very poor quality and nothing you expect when on Holliday - do yourself a favor a stay away from this option go to the town (15 min. Walk instead and you will find great options that will enrich your stay and memories for a great vacation in Lesbos ..

The bad impression began from the moment we arrived. The person at reception (possibly the manager) greeted us with a scowl, as if we had killed his mother... But let’s move on to more practical matters. All the rooms have a balcony facing the sea. However, while half the balconies have railings, the other half have a one-meter-high wall. So, you have a 50% chance of sitting on your balcony and staring at the wall. The same applies when you're inside the room — even though it's supposedly a room with a view! The air conditioner was placed directly opposite the bed, which caused us trouble the first night. Leaving the balcony door open would have been a good option, but unfortunately there were no mosquito screens. And mosquitoes were flying around. The layout was bad. The outdoor unit of the AC was installed on the balcony, even though it could easily have been placed outside the front door, where there was enough space and it wouldn’t bother anyone. Even the "Do Not Disturb" sign couldn’t be hung on the outside of the door because the external handle was too big... The breakfast was mediocre. The dining area and buffet were too small to serve all the guests. Eggs were rationed! They came out every 10 minutes or so and disappeared immediately. Despite the staff’s efforts, I’ve never before encountered a buffet where they ran out of butter, milk — even water! Overall, we had no desire to spend time in the room. And one last thing: there’s a “resilience fee” of 15 euros per night, which is not included in the room rate.
