If you want to feel like home away from home this is the place to stay. Family owned and operated Katerina, Nico and Maria are such wonderful hosts. They made our family feel so welcomed and were extremely helpful if we needed anything during our stay. The hotel rooms are specious and clean. And the daily breakfast was delicious. This hotel completely made our stay in Chios wonderful. This is a beautiful family run hotel, they cater to your every need and are so sweet and personable. They have a breakfast that the mother makes me every morning and it is definitely worth it! The hotel is clean, has a beautiful pool and a beach two minutes away! I’ve spent six months in this place due to a project I had on the island. The rooms were very clean and spacious and they had nice view. The breakfast is comparable to a four or even five star hotel with lots of things to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and always there when we needed them. I highly recommend it for a place to stay which is close to town, quiet and clean.

Nick’s frappés and Katerina’s tiropites were the perfect start to our days there. The Morning Star is located just 5 minutes away from the port and walking distance from a supermarket and beach bar. Nick provided us with a map of Chios and highlighted places we needed to visit, as well as the name and number of the busses that take you into the town of Chios. Katerina, Nick and Maria could not have made our stay any better- their attention to detail and passion for what they do is second to none. I cannot wait to come back!
