Food was lovely here, we really enjoyed it, everything was well seasoned and cooked nicely...the view from where we were sitting of the water was amazing, you have a choice to sit up near the road or on 2 other levels towards the beach. and the location just down from the main street was ideal. No parking tho because it's quite central. October seems to be a good month for this area if you don't want too much buzz, we had a peaceful/romantic meal during the day here. Service was great, the staff were welcoming and kind, they were also very helpful. Prices are moderate too and the menu has a nice variety of food. would definitely recommend eating here.

I’m not one to write a review, ever. But… WOW. The food was exceptional. This, accompanied by great cocktails and perfect staff made for one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten out. Worth every penny. Start to finish, everything was perfect. We were greeted earlier in the day and decided to make a reservation, cancelling a booking elsewhere after seeing the pork ribs the night before. The staff aren’t pushy or rude, unlike most of the restaurants or bars nearby. I suppose that’s because the food on offer speaks for itself. We arrived 30 minutes early for our 7.30 reservation, which the host was unbothered by, swiftly sat us and we were greeted with the charming interior and friendly staff, promptly offered a menu and drinks arrived swiftly. I had a sparkling water and my partner had a Suave cocktail, which upon a a cheeky sip, I ordered two more of. Delicious. The BBQ Pork Ribs are a MUST, trust me. We had the Guacamole Bowl and Chicken Chimichangas to start. Strong start, a brief glimpse into what was to come. We then had an Australian Angus Ribeye and BBQ Pork Ribs to share. To say they were good would be an understatement. I am probably the biggest food snob, but never rude about it. I can cook quite well myself and am disappointed to pay for a meal that I could have made better myself at home, this was not the case here. Everything was perfect. When we asked for the bill, the host gave us a shot of sangria on the house and a free desert the next time we visit. For my sake, I hope that is sooner than later. When we got the bill, the staff ensured that we checked everything together and told us the price and gave us the option to tip, without forcing it upon us. For what we received, it was very reasonably priced. I paid for the bill and tipped in cash, something that I rarely do. But this felt special to me. This place deserves to be on the map. A massive thank you to every at El Puerto. Yamas!
