We have had one of the best weeks of our lives! This hotel is the perfect choice for a romantic vacation. The staff helped us with everything we could ask for, the room was clean, hightech and beautifully designed and the whole hotel has a luxurious calm and relaxed vibe. We love to travel and eat good food and had really high expectations, but Amira really blew our minds! The food at Kritamo is outstanding and the service is just amazing. We have no complaints and already want to come back! A special thanks to George, who served us delicious food with the biggest smile many datenights. And wow, the lobster at lobsternight was insane! We would also like to give a shoutout to the chef behind the sauces at Kritamo, cause all of them were perfectly balanced (and we love a generous serving) The pool and beach area is exceptional, and it’s also really convenient with the towel service and that it’s so easy to order drinks and food through the app. I would also recommend renting a car and explore the villages nearby! Crete has so much to offer other than the «tourist» spots and we’ve really fallen in love with the cretan cuisine, organic produce from local farms and the open minded people that made us feel so welcome. Probably the best hotel we have stayed at so far in our travels. Stayed here with my partner and we were welcomed late into the night with a warm reception. We were helped to our room and shown around by a kind man. We ate breakfast most mornings, it was not too loud and the atmosphere was calm. The dinner buffet had a great variety everynight. The food tasted great and again, the atmosphere was pleasant. I've got a pretty bad case of anxiety so getting up to get food at a buffet seemed very daunting to me but I quickly felt comfortable. We had a jacuzzi in our room, it was a perfect size and well maintained. The room itself was spacious and clean. The bathroom was lovely but the floor became quite slippery when wet in the shower room. We visited the beach one day and tried to step into the ocean but I wouldn't recommend going into the ocean without some form of footwear as I got a cut on the bottom of my foot from the rocks. Otherthan this, the hotel was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again in the near future. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
