Iguazu Athens is absolutely divine! I had the chicken kabob, sweet potato fries, cassava fries, and their gnocchi with cheese, everything was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks and beer were just as impressive, rounding out an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing! From the ambiance, food, drinks and customer service. Vaso and Alex were our servers and the way did an amazing job with recommendations and hospitality. This is a must go to restaurant in Athens. I will return again at least once before I leave.
The only reason why it didn’t get five stars it was because it was a little overpriced. Other than that, the food was very good, with the exception of the sweet potato purée, which was 1 tablespoon spread out on the plate. For the price of that dish, that was unacceptable. Drinks were the e Poesia (similar to an espresso martini) and the Tango Argentino. Main dish was the Tangliani Bahia which was surprisingly delicious. This was the dish that had the 1 tablespoon of sweet potato purée. The salad, Ensalada di Pato was absolutely scrumptious. We had the 2 sushi rolls Rio and Rainbow were not bad but expensive.
The setting was pretty good. We sat outside as do most people. It was our anniversary dinner so we were pretty excited. The food was amazing top notch. The service was non existent and the amount of people that smoke in athens really killed our vibe.
